Society program

FARMINGTON — The Sandy River Genealogical Society will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at the Farmington Public Library. The program will be on “Remembering Franklin County.” All are welcome.

Storytimes resume 

WILTON — The Wilton Free Public Library children’s room is resuming its regular storytime schedule of 10:30 a.m. Tuesday preschool storytimes and 10:30 a.m. Friday infant/toddler storytimes.

First Wednesday of the Month homeschooler storytimes will be held at 2:30 p.m. For more information, call 645-4831.

Rabies clinic

WELD — Dr. Cooper will be on hand to give shots at the annual rabies clinic to be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, in the multi-purpose room at the town office/post office complex, 23 Mill St. The clinic is open to all surrounding towns for dogs and cats.

The town clerk will be available to license dogs.
