Joseph G. Kilkelly
1946 – 2009
AUBURN — Joseph G. Kilkelly, USMC, 63, a resident of Mechanic Falls passed away Thursday, Dec. 31, at the Hospice House with his wife, Donna by his side.
He was born in Boston, Mass., Feb. 11, 1946, the son of Michael J. and Ann D. (McNamara) Kilkelly. He resided most of his life in Maine, he was U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam conflict, and had been employed in the U.S. Postal Service in Portland, Auburn, and Lewiston until his retirement in 1998.
Joe was also a member of the Vietnam Veteran’s Motorcycle Club, and was also joined the Lewiston Veteran’s Center in his later years.
Survivors include his wife, the former Donna Dixon of Mechanic Falls; one daughter, Sarah Howard and her husband, Jeffery, of Pittston; and two grandchildren, Samuel and Alexander Howard.
