FARMINGTON — Sprite is this week’s feature creature at the Franklin County Animal Shelter.

Staff said she is a shy little gal that loves to hang out on the top of the kennels. She loves to go there and play a little hide n’ seek.

She has been at the shelter longer than any other cat. Because of that, her adoption fee has already been paid by a caring individual from the community.

Sprite warms right up, given a little time and affection. She would be a great cat in a quiet household where she can lay comfortably on a couch or bed and curl up while her family is sleeping or reading.

New dogs at the shelter include a lab mix from Livermore Falls and a pit mix from Farmington.
