POLAND — The Person to Person potluck supper series sponsored by Friends of Ricker Library will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10. Friends and neighbors are invited to gather for conversation over a meal of casseroles, salads and desserts at the Ricker Library.
Following the dinner hour, Carolyn and Stan Tanner will present “Images of Israel, 2009.” Their tour to Israel, “Through Each Others Eyes,” offered an opportunity to see and experience many Christian and Jewish historic sites while learning connections between faiths of the region.
The presenters will share pictures and observations about these connections and the work of organizations such as Rabbis for Human Rights and Tantar Ecumenical Institute. The Tanners are Poland residents and have been in ministry for 45 years, Stan as a pastor for local churches and Carolyn in Christian education.
All are welcome to attend the supper and program. Guests are asked to bring something to share at the table.
