Dorothy B. Shackley

NORWAY — Dorothy B. Shackley, 89, of Norway died Monday, Jan. 4, at Norway Rehabilitation and Living Center.
She was born in Belfast, June 30, 1920, the daughter of James H. and Blanche Clark James. She worked in the shoe industry, and at Burnham and Morrill. She was a member of the American Legion Post 82 in Norway, the Floyd Harlow VFW and the DAV in Lewiston.
She enjoyed bingo and loved long walks. She married Howard W. Shackley on July 10, 1954, he passed away on March 5, 1983.
She is survived by a sister, Caroline Ellis of Searsport.
She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters.
