Local artist Vincent Myrand will host a reception Friday, Jan. 8, at She Doesn’t Like Guthries in Lewiston, where his work will be on display this month. Myrand paints a wide range of subjects from fanciful character images and portraits to local historic scenes. The reception will be from 7 to 9 p.m. The restaurant/cafe is at 115 Middle St.
