NORTH CONWAY, N.H. — The New England District of Kiwanis International held an officer training and awareness convention at the Grand Hotel recently. Kiwanis members from almost 100 clubs from Bermuda and six New England states attended.

District Governor John Kooly said, “This convention is to train new officers, to share new opportunities with the New England Foundation like our relationship with Tufts Medical Center, our Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute and to share ideas and success stories between clubs.”

The Auburn-Lewiston Kiwanis Club was represented by Jan Dwinal, vice president, and Doug Dwinal, board member.

The Auburn-Lewiston club is part of the New England District. It sponsors scholarships for local  high schools, book programs for children, Cub Scout programs, camperships for kids, leadership for three Key Clubs, and LA arts programs in the schools.
