Ronald L. Gagne
1938 – 2009

LEWISTON — Ronald L. Gagne, 71, passed away Dec. 23.

He was born April 21, 1938 and raised in the Lewiston area. Known as “Pep” Gagne back in the day, Ron was a superb athlete who set many records in Lewiston in the late 1950s. He often talked of his passion for sports and the many valuable lessons he learned from his endeavors. He served our country in the Army in the early 1960s. He was so proud to be an American and has passed on his love for country to his grandchildren who now serve.

He spoke so fondly of Kim and Michelle. His heart was touched by their emotional and physical support when his family could not be there. He loved his family. He was an awesome grandfather; he gave them all he had. He shared with them the wealth of his experience, his time and his faith.

He is survived by one sister, Jenny Farrell; and has family residing throughout the U.S. He is sadly missed by many people.

Above all things in life, his love for God was evident by his patient and gentle manner and how he strived to be a better man every new day. He always shared his faith with those around him and we know that he is in the presence of the Lord this very minute.
