This is in response to the editorial of Jan. 6.
What’s wrong with a few more eyesores on Streaked Mountain, you ask? Why more studies? Why wait?
Perhaps you should read the article, buried in the back pages on Dec. 13. I’ll summarize: Cities of Kittery and Saco greatly disappointed with performance of $200,000 windmills which produced 25 percent or less of guaranteed production.
Unfortunately for them, the company that slapped the wind towers up went bankrupt. Too bad.
