DIXFIELD – The Neighborly Senior Citizens will meet on Wednesday, Jan. 20, at the Dixfield Legion. The meeting will start at 11 a.m. followed by a potluck dinner and the playing of nickel beano.
Nickel beano is open to the public. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m.
The 2010 membership cards are available. Dues are $10 each year. Neighborly Senior Citizens is open to anyone age 50 and over.
Anyone interested in attending The Band of the Irish Guards/Royal Regiment of Scotland (Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders) at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, may call Connie for further information or to sign up.
Other upcoming trips include: Sunday, March 7, Disney on Ice presents Disney/Pixar’s Finding Nemo and on Monday,
March 15, a trip to Indian Head in Lincoln, N.H. for the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
The group is also planning a trip to Lac Megantic in April. Due to the new border restrictions, those interested are asked to call Connie prior to Monday, Feb. 1, to sign up.
