BETHEL — Maine Country Hall of Famer Denny Breau will headline a lineup of Maine musicians performing Sunday, Jan. 24, at the second annual Telstar Jamboree.

The renowned guitarist has played in such groups as Winterwood, Turkey Hollow and his own band, the Denny Breau Trio.
Also performing will be Jewel Clark, daughter of famed yodeler Slim Clark; Donnie Katlin; Rolly York; Jim McLaughlin, Gould Academy music teacher and pianist for Those Jazz Guys.

In addition, Telstar Middle School art teacher Melissa Prescott will perform with her husband, Michael Prescott, music director at Mountain Valley High School; and Telstar Middle School counselor Kevin O’Reilly will play bass guitar pieces from his three solo CDs. Rounding out the show will be rock group Midnight Haze featuring Telstar Middle School seventh-graders Ryan Vail and David Pilgrim Guay.

The jamboree will begin at 2 p.m. in the Telstar Middle/High School auditorium. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students. All proceeds will be donated to Bethel’s food pantry.
