I read recent articles about Mark LaFlamme’s and Adam Lee’s individual efforts to support the Natural Resources Council of Maine. While both gentlemen’s contributions might be well-intended, they are being misled regarding the current state of global warming.
In November, official documents from the University of East Anglia in England — the central science center for world temperature data collection — were released to the public, but minimally reported by mainstream media. Those e-mails revealed that the most respected scientists in the world have engaged — for years — in fraud of unimaginable scale. They had intentionally upped world temperatures since at least 1999, while readings by other scientists have shown a cooling trend during the past 11 years.
This has been called “Climategate” and, in comparison, makes Watergate look like child’s play.
People should ponder the stark contrast between mainstream reporting on the crimes of Watergate and Climategate. Why did Watergate result in the resignation of a U.S. president, yet Climategate received almost no acknowledgement by mainstream press? The alternative press (Alex Jones, et. al.) has forcefully exposed the crimes of the U.N. scientists, with their probable purpose to support a carbon tax at last December’s climate treaty at Copenhagen. (Notably, the exposure of the U.N. scientists occurred just weeks prior to Copenhagen.)
I urge that folks gather news from alternative, not mainstream, sources. As has become obvious to many, mainstream media no longer embody freedom of the press, or accurate, complete, information reporting.
