U.S. Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, is shown an in-car computer by Auburn Police Department’s Deputy Chief Jason Moen on Thursday during a briefing on the technology purchased for the department with $1.8 million in Homeland Security funds, including the computer. “I’m impressed with the amount of collaboration here,” Collins said of the Lewiston, Auburn, Mechanic Falls and Lisbon police and fire departments sharing resources as a result of the funding.
