birthday celebration at noon Thursday, Jan. 21, at the Chicken Coop.

Legion supper

DIXFIELD — The American Legion Swasey-Torry Post 100 will host a supper from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5. There will be roast pork, mashed potatoes,
vegetables, rolls and dessert. Cost for adults is $6; children under 12, $4.

RUMFORD — The River Valley Chamber will present Birdie Googins, aka the Marden’s Lady, at the Rumford Falls Auditorium on Saturday, Feb. 13. Tickets are available from any director of the
