The Androscoggin Valley Community Orchestra will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at the Franco-American Heritage Center. Under the direction of Paul Ross, the ensemble will perform “Fingals’s Cave Overture” by Mendelssohn, Symphony No. 4 by Beethoven and the concert piece for four horns and orchestra by Robert Schumann. French horn soloists for Schumann’s composition are, clockwise from bottom left, Emily Widdoes, Natasha Proctor, Lee Lenfest and John Rynne. Tickets, $6, will be available at the door.
