Guy E. Gagne
SABATTUS — Funeral services were held Jan. 13 for Guy E. Gagne at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Sabattus, after prayers at the Albert and Burpee Funeral Home. Officiating was the Rev. Robert Parent. The readings were done by Julie Caldwell and Monique Hamann and the intercessions were read by Ray Dulac. Altar servers were James, Kayla and Austin Gayton. The offertory gifts were brought down the aisle by Michael Gagne and Wanda Gayton and a eulogy was given by Julie and Sonny Caldwell. Pallbearers were Claude Hamann, Mike Gervais, Andy Gervais, Jonah Chasse, Andre Marquis and Roger Chasse. The Rev. Parent also recited prayers of committal at St. Peter’s Cemetery and an honor guard from the U.S. Marine Corps played “taps” and folded and presented an American flag to the widow. After the service, family and friends gathered in the church hall of Our Lady of the Rosary in order to continue the celebration of Guy’s life with food and fellowship.
