Motor Vehicle Burglaries
A vehicle parked at the Lewiston Municipal Parking Garage at 1 Oak St. was burglarized prior to 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 15.
A vehicle parked at the corner of Pine and Webster streets was burglarized overnight Jan. 10 — Jan. 11. An iPod was taken from inside the car.
A vehicle parked at Affordable Auto Repair at 1071 Sabattus St. was burglarized prior to 2 p.m. on Jan. 8. Stereo speakers were taken from inside.
A vehicle parked at 76 Pine St. was burglarized overnight Jan. 13 — Jan. 14, a window was broken to gain entry.
A vehicle parked at 172 Bates St. was burglarized overnight Jan. 13 — Jan. 14, property was rummaged through but nothing appeared to be taken.
Burglaries
An apartment t 182 Ash St. was burglarized between 7 a.m. and 3:40 p.m. on Jan. 8. Frozen meat was stolen from a freezer.
SepiTech at 70 Commercial St. had damage done to a rear entry door sometime overnight Jan. 14 — Jan. 15. Pry marks were found around the door casing.
Lee Credit Express at 1304 Lisbon St. had damage done to a rear entry door with a pry bar during an attempted burglary, which occurred overnight Jan. 13 — Jan. 14.
Sean Austin, 18, and two juveniles were charged with burglary and theft on Jan. 13 at 4:42 p.m. Officers responded to 82 Warren Ave. after a neighbor reported several young men entering a residence and leaving with property in their arms. Officers found a vehicle stolen laptops and an MP3 player. An inspection of the residence revealed a rear door was forced open.
Theft
A customer of Chill Yoga had money stolen from her purse on Jan. 10 at 8:30 a.m.
Counterfeit money
The Camden National Bank at 110 Canal St. received a counterfeit $20 from the Acme Club’s deposits on Jan. 8. The bill had serial No. IF19014055A, which has appeared 108
times in New England and has also shown up in Florida.
Driving to Endanger
Bilow Farah, 33, was charged with driving to endanger and operating without a license on Jan. 14 at 8 a.m. after a pedestrian was hit in a walking path at Lewiston High School. The vehicle then jumped a snowbank, and struck several parked cars.
Operating Under the Influence
Stephen Desrosiers, 29, was charged with operating under the influence on Jan. 10 at 1:11 a.m. at the corner of Lisbon and Spruce streets.
Wanted:
Bobby Jones, 39, is wanted on a warrant charging unpaid fines for burglary and theft.
Isaac Witham, 21,is wanted on a warrant charging domestic violence assault, and criminal mischief.
Kathryn Haydon, 45, is wanted on a warrant charging unpaid fines for theft.
