NORWAY — Western Maine Health Vice President of Clinical Services M. Patricia Cook announced that registered nurses Renee Roberts and Jean Jones recently passed the rigorous Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum.
This is a two-day intensive program, developed by the National Emergency Nurses Association, that teaches an organized and thorough assessment of trauma patients with immediate life-saving interventions. Roberts and Jones are employed in emergency services at Stephens Memorial Hospital.
Roberts received her nursing degree at Kennebec Valley Community College and has worked at SMH since May 2008. Jones graduated from the University of Delaware and has been employed with SMH since 1995.
