Eleanor Chaplin

BRUNSWICK — A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Eleanor Chaplin was celebrated Saturday morning by Father Frank Murray at St. John the Baptist Church.

During the Mass, the first reading was proclaimed by Eleanor’s son-in-law, Rob Nevin, the second was read by Eleanor’s daughter, Laura Nevin, and the offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Eleanor’s granddaughters, Carrie and Abbie King. Margaret King, Eleanor’s daughter, sang “How Great Thou Art” accompanied by her husband, Tim King, on piano. Margaret also shared words of remembrance about her mother before the conclusion of Mass. Burial will be at private. At the conclusion of services, a receiving line was formed in the back of church so all in attendance could greet the Chaplin family with their own personal condolence before attending a reception of fellowship at the Hilton Garden Inn in Freeport. Arrangements by the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Lewiston.
