NORTH MONMOUTH — Leo and Pat Gagnon of Turner are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Sandra Hayes of North Monmouth, to Kirt Witherell of North Monmouth, son of Art and Lane Witherell of Winthrop.

The future bride is a graduate of Leavitt Area High School and is employed as an electrician at Bath Iron Works.

The future bridegroom is a graduate of Windham High School and is employed as electrical supervisor at Bath Iron Works.

The wedding will be held on Aug. 28 in Monmouth.
