PARIS — Firefighters responded late Friday night to a fire that spread from a chimney into the wall behind a wood stove at 385 Park St. Fire Chief Brad Frost said the initial call came in at about 11 p.m. It took two hours to extinguish the fire and remove the damaged material. The wood stove in the living room area was being used to heat the small ranch at the time, Frost said. Owner Andrew Pierson had insurance and was able to stay in the home.
