I would like to remind Paris voters of the importance of the two recall elections on Feb. l and Feb. 5 at the fire station in South Paris. Absentee ballots are available at the Town Office. Voting time is 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the days of the recall elections.

The first vote, on Feb. 1, will be on David Ivey and Lloyd (Skip) Herrick. The second vote, on Feb. 5, will be on Raymond Glover and Troy Ripley.

If the issue is confusing to voters, they should call the town office for information.

I implore residents to mark their calendars and remind friends of the recall election that is so important to the town. This is not a town that has fallen and can’t get up. Residents can get up and vote. That will help bring this town out of the ditch.

People need to show that they care about their town.

Theresa Geissler, South Paris
