Note the Sun Journal front-page story on Jan. 21, “Snowe, Collins want action on health care.” If Sens. Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins didn’t support the misguided wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that are costing the nation billions, there would be no problem with the cost of health care.

Where do these so-called moderate Republicans get the gall to undermine the health care proposal of President Barack Obama when they have such an incredible health care plan themselves? You can bet their plan benefits themselves, physicians and hospitals.

That’s the plan we all need.

Snowe and Collins are not moderate Republicans on the issue of health care. They’re talking like conservatives, voting like conservatives, helping to undermine health care for all.

Wake up, Mainers. Snowe and Collins need to hear about your position on health care. We should take away their health care plan if they don’t support ours. They need to know how the public feels or they will continue to oppose health care.

Wake up, Mainers. It’s time for a real tea party.
