Annette L. Blake

AUBURN — Annette L. Blake, 91, of Oxford died Tuesday, Jan. 26, at Clover Health Care Center.
She was born in Jackman, Oct. 2, 1918, the daughter of Frank and Angelene Martin Thibodeau. She graduated from high school in Jackman.
During World War II, she worked in the shipyards with her sister. She married Raymond L. Blake in 1947. She was a homemaker until 1965, then she worked at Aetna in the actuarial department, retiring in 1981. She traveled across the country with her husband.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Johnston of Oxford; three sons, Lawrence and his wife, Marianne, of Groveland, Fla., Richard and his wife, Barbara, and Donald and his wife, Amy, all of Manchester, Conn.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Henry Thibodeau; two sisters, Theresa Giralone and Rolande Laliberte.
She was predeceased by her husband on July 11, 2006; a sister, Cecile Duquette; and a son-in-law, John Johnston in 2008.
