Blue jean sale

RANGELEY — The Thrift Shoppe in the undercroft of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Main Street, will have a blue jeans clearance
sale starting Tuesday, Feb. 2 and continuing until Saturday, Feb. 27.

The jeans will be priced at 75 cents each pair. The jeans are in good shape and include small, medium and larger sizes. Although not on clearance, the shop also has a selection of winter coats, jackets and sweaters.

The Thrift Shoppe is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Scholarships available

FARMINGTON — The Franklin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Committee is once again offering the West Central Maine Health Career Scholarships. The scholarships will be presented to students in need of financial assistance who reside in the Franklin Memorial Hospital service area (Greater Franklin County, including Livermore Falls and Livermore), and are pursuing careers in the health care field.

Applications must be returned by Thursday, April 15. Applicants must also have been accepted to a school of their choice by that date. The auxiliary will select six $500 scholarships in May, which will be awarded following the successful completion of the first semester of post-secondary school.
