AUBURN — The Central Maine Community College Corporate and Community Services Department will offer CPT Medical Coding from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 4 through April 8. The cost of the course is $425 including the textbook.

The Current Procedural Terminology coding system is used to code billing procedures and services provided by acute care hospitals, long term care facilities, outpatient clinic facilities, physicians and other health care professionals.

The course will provide an overview of clinical vocabularies and classifications and detailed instruction on CPT coding principles. Students should have experience in medical terminology for this class.

The noncredit class will be taught by Judy Roy and is open to the public.
