The Rumford Police Department responded to 50 complaints from 6 a.m. Jan. 17 to 6 a.m. Jan. 24. Basic traffic stops are not included in the total.

Arrests/summonses

Jan. 17 at 11:10 p.m. — M. Angela Woods, 29, of Dixfield was arrested by Patrolman Donald Miller on charges of assault, terrorizing and violation conditions of release on Hathaway Lane in Dixfield. Woods was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on March 2nd.

Jan. 18 at 8:53 p.m. — Adam Conley, 37, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Lawrence Winson on charges of operating after suspension and violation conditions of release on Cumberland Street. Conley was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 6.

Jan. 19 at 10:15 a.m. — An 18-year-old man from Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Michael Belanger on a juvenile warrant charging failure to complete community service on Spruce Street. The juvenile was conditionally released.

Jan. 19 at 11:10 a.m. — Norman Johnson, 39, of Lewiston was arrested by Officer Eric Richard on a Bridgton warrant charging failure to pay fines for operating without a license and operating after suspension at the Rumford Police Department. Johnson was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

Jan. 23 at 12:13 a.m. — Nathan Mead, 34, of Navarre, Ohio was arrested by Patrolman Lawrence Winson on a charge of operating under the influence on Hancock Street. Mead posted $300 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 6.

Jan. 23 at 9:23 a.m. — Susan Mills, 33, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Tracey Higley on a charge of domestic assault on Route 2. Mills posted $400 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on March 2.

Burglary

Jan. 21 at 4:45 p.m. — Andover Road resident reported their residence broken into and property stolen. Jan. 23 at 1:27 p.m. — Andover Road resident reported an unsuccessful break-in attempt at their residence. Approximately $100 damage was done to the front door. Case is under investigation.

Jan. 23 at 4:21 p.m. — Congress Street resident reported someone entered his residence and stole a $300 laptop computer. Anyone with information is asked to contact Capt. Daniel Garbarini at 364-4551, ext. 233, or

 Crash

Jan. 19 at 4:05 p.m. — A 1997 Jeep operated by Ashley Pelletier, 20, of Rumford was traveling west on South Rumford Road and struck a 2000 Ford traveling east and operated by Phillip Zinck, 47, of Rumford. Approximately $5,000 damage was done to the front of the Jeep and $4,000 to the left side of the Ford.

Wanted

Daniel Marshall, 24, of Rumford and Oxford areas is wanted on a Paris District Court warrant dated Jan. 20, 2010, and charging failure to appear for stealing drugs.
