PARIS — Winners in this week’s Oxford Hills School District mathematics meet for fifth- and sixth-graders were announced Thursday.
Individual awards for fifth grade: First, Emory Fructos of West Paris; second, Ty Heaward of Oxford; third (four-way tie), Brandon Labbe of Otisfield, Ammel Dooley of Hebron, Hannah Hartnett of Hebron and Theresa Wilson of Harrison.
Team awards for fifth grade:
First, Team Ivory from Harrison Elementary School: Tyler Edwards,Theresa Wilson, Nicole Auger,Spencer Hurd, Ashtin Lewis, Abigail Rizzo.
Second, Team Brass from West Paris Elementary School: Caleb Tufts, Emory Fructos,Nathanial McNutt,Anna Piirainen, Tyler Ellingwood.
Third, Team Aqua of Hebron Elementary School: Hannah Hartnett, Ammel Dooley, Jonathan Libby.
Individual winners for sixth grade: First, Tyler Curtis of Otisfield; second, Taye Brown of West Paris; third (two-way tie, Isaiah Alexander of Harrison and Mckayla Ivey of Otisfield.
Team winner for sixth grade:
First, Team Goldenrod from Otisfield Elementary School: Ethan Judkins-Matot, Jordon Labbe, Mckayla Ivey, Tyler Curtis, Todd Gustaitis, Jasmine Roy.
Second, Team Cobalt from West Paris Elementary School: Emily Black, Taye Brown, Emma Files, Prentiss Kurtz, Kate Wilson, Sera Schweikhardt.
Third, Team Khaki from the Harrison Elementary School: Nicole Washburn, Jacob Beauchesne, Dimitri Dibiase, Isaiah Alexander, Daniel Garber, Nicole Lessor.
A total of 116 students from all eight elementary schools participated at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.
