PARIS — A Valentine dance is being held next week to raise money to build Beth Coffin a home.

The dance, buffet and auction are set from 6 to 11 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 13, at Tuscany Hall on Route 26 in Paris.

Coffin, 24, lives on High Street in West Paris with her mother, Bonnie Coffin, her stepfather, Gary Waterhouse, and her 12-year-old black and white cat Booger. Beth Coffin suffers from spinal muscular atrophy Type II, two blood diseases and scoliosis that has left her in a wheelchair.

Their home is an old trailer with a stick-built addition.

A committee of people from communities across Oxford Hills formed Beth’s House Committee last year to raise $100,000 to build her a home. They hope to break ground in the spring.

Greg Allen of radio station WOXO will be the disc jockey. Tickets are $12.50 per person and are available at the Lake Store on Route 118 in Norway and the Sideline Variety Store on Alpine Street in Paris.
