Legion dances
SOUTH PARIS — The American Legion Post 72 will sponsor dances from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday,
Feb. 6, 13, 20 and 27, at the Legion Hall, Church
Street. Music will be provided by Jones Dance Band. The cost is $5. The
lunch counter will be open.
Roast dinner
SOUTH PARIS — A pot roast dinner, with homemade pies for dessert, will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Deering Memorial Methodist
Church, Main and Church streets. The cost is $8 for adults and $3 for kids
under 12. Parking is available behind the library
and town office.
Heywood Club
NORWAY — Members of the Heywood Club will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, at the home of
Shari Morse, 625 Crockett Ridge Road. Barbie Townsend will lead the meeting and details for the club

Computer classes

Clam supper
OXFORD — The Rock-O-Dundee Riders of Oxford will host the annual fried clam supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at the clubhouse on Paine Road, East Oxford.
There will be no telephone orders for takeout. All suppers will be on a first-come, first-served basis for either takeout or eat-in. The menu will include french fries, clams, haddock, shrimp, chicken fingers, coleslaw, rolls, dessert and beverage.
Worship service
SOUTH PARIS — All adults are invited to “Making the Old Story Our Story” and all children are invited to Sunday School at 9 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 7, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 34 Buckfield Road, Route 117. Worship service will begin at 10:15 a.m. The service will be followed by coffee, refreshments and fellowship.
