COATS FOR SENIORS PROGRAM DISTRIBUTES COATS TO LEWISTON HOUSING AUTHORITY’S ELDERY & DISABLED RESIDENTS

Approximately 75 coats were distributed to Lewiston Housing Authority’s elderly & disabled residents. This was made possible by the Coats For Seniors Program. The Coats For Seniors Program is a collaborative venture with Agencies on Aging and law enforcement from five Maine Counties and L.L. Bean. Additionally, L.L. Bean donated $5.00 per coat to the ‘Keep Maine Warm Fund’.

In these times of budget cuts & constantly rising prices, people on fixed incomes find it more and more challenging to meet their basic needs. The Coats For Seniors Program is a part of meeting this challenge for some of LHA’s residents. Pictured from left to right are Robin Alberts, Terry Clark & Sandy Lincoln.
