MEXICO — The following incidents were handled by the Mexico Police Department.

Theft
 
A Granite Street resident reported at 9:50 p.m. Jan. 28 that while he was away, someone entered his parked vehicle and took a cordless drill valued at $25.

Attempted burglary
  A Mitchell Street resident reported at 11 a.m. Jan. 31 that sometime during the previous week someone attempted to enter one of his properties. A window was opened, but nothing appeared to be stolen.
