Ronald P. Caron
1947 – 2010
AUBURN — Ronald Paul Caron, 62, of Sabattus, died on Feb. 1, at the Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family.
Ron was born Sept. 17, 1947, in Lewiston, the son of Lawrence L. and Germaine E. (Morin) Caron. He attended Lewiston High School, after which, he worked in construction for many years as a finish carpenter. He then went on to work at Bath Iron Works for 19 years.
He married Sylvia McAllister on Aug. 1, 1979. He and Sylvia are longtime residents of Sabattus. He was a Mason and former past master (three times) of Webster Lodge. He was very active in the building of the new lodge. He enjoyed working on computers and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sylvia; son, Mark Caron and wife, Dee, of Virginia; daughter, Lori Rioux and husband, Jack, of Winthrop; brother, Roger Caron and wife, Joline, of Lewiston; sister, Sue McAllister and husband, Terry, of California; grandchildren, Jacob, Jonathan and Devin; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents.
