Paul R. Veilleux
1924 – 2010
AUBURN — Paul R. Veilleux, 85, of 85 Caron Lane and formerly of 30 Stevens St., Lewiston died Tuesday, Feb. 2, at the Odd Fellows Home with his daughter by his side after a long illness.
He was born in St. George, P.Q., Sept. 2, 1924, the son of Theophile and Marie Anne (Frigon) Veilleux and had been a resident of this community most of his life.
He was married to the former Theresa Morin, whom he married on May 3, 1952; she died on Jan. 3, 1993.
He was employed as a carpenter for many years.
He was a very quiet man who enjoyed camping, walking in the woods, woodworking and spending time with his family.
He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Martin and her husband, Lucien, of East Poland and Erica DeVirieu of Lewiston; one brother, Roger Veilleux and his wife, Aurella, of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Monique and Rose Alma; and four brothers, Rosaire, Lionel, Gerard and Donat.
