JAY — Kelsey Doiron of Jay, a senior at Jay High School, has been selected to receive the 2010 Principal’s Award, Principal Gilbert D. Eaton III announced today. The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.
“Kelsey is an outstanding student and school citizen. She has a great work ethic and a genuine love of learning. She is an exemplary ambassador for her fellow students, the faculty at Jay High School, her family and her community. Kelsey is a top student and a fine young lady who greatly deserves this honor,” said Eaton.
The award is presented in more than 143 Maine public and private high schools by member principals of the Maine Principals’ Association, the professional association which represents Maine’s school administrators.
