AUBURN — The Central Maine Community College Education Foundation will hold its third annual dinner on Wednesday, April 14, at the Hilton Garden Inn/Auburn Riverwatch.

“The CMCC annual dinner will be a celebration of excellence,” said Planning Committee chairman Ron Lebel, an attorney with the law firm of Skelton, Taintor and Abbott. “This promises to be a memorable event at which time we will honor the accomplishments and contributions of students, faculty, staff, and community supporters.”

The mission of the foundation is to provide financial support to the college and its students, to advocate on behalf of the college and to
nurture relationships with the community and constituencies.

It is
governed by a volunteer board of directors comprised of business and community leaders. The foundation board also serves as the college’s Education Advisory Council, providing an important forum for
matters that have a broad impact on the college.

Anyone interested in more information about the event is asked to call Roger Philippon at 755-5357 or e-mail at [email protected].
