AUBURN — Members of the Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, at the Alden M. Gayton Post 31, American Legion, 426 Washington St. The directors will meet at 10 a.m.
A valentine luncheon will be served under the direction of Irving Grant, assisted by volunteers, and the valentine king and queen will be crowned. Members are reminded to bring their cups. Bingo will be played following lunch.
When the group met on Jan. 27 under the direction of the president, Merry Strout, there were 42 members present. Trip chairwoman Evelyn Sawin reported that she is having a trip to Indian Head Resort, Lincoln, N.H. on Friday, March 12, price $60.
Another trip is scheduled to Foster’s Lobster House in York for $55. The trips are open to everyone. To make reservations, see Sawin at Robin Dow meetings or phone her at 998-4577.
The group sang “Happy Birthday” to those with January birthdays.
Attendance prize winners were Evelyn Sawin and Caroline Chapman; pot of gold, Yvette Frechette, Gerald Timberlake, Alwin Strout; mystery prize, Charlotte Grant, Phillip Cyr and George Herrick Sr.
