OES meeting

AUBURN — Pine Cone Chapter 26, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, at the Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St.
The chapter will honor past and present chaplains, marshal and organist.

William Reese, grand chaplain; Judy Ashe, grand marshal; and Elizabeth Wight, grand organist, will be present. Stephen and Ellen Broas will also be honored for being members of the Order of Eastern Star for 25 years.

A dimes to dollars donation will be taken for Grand Chapter Charity. The meeting will be preceded by a Hawaiian luau potluck at 6:15 p.m. Pine Cone has the Travel Emblem for District 4. All Eastern Star members are welcome.

Cribbage winners

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Feb 2 were: first, Roger Patry and Ed Madden; second, Robert Cielinski and Val Asselin; third, Bert Belanger and Guy Dube; fourth, Pat Records and John Violette; fifth, Jim Craven And Norn Bissonnette.

The next game will be played at 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 11.

Travelers meeting

TURNER — Members of Twin City Council of the United Commercial Travelers of America will hold a dinner meeting at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Chickadee Restaurant.
