Linda R. Littlefield

LUTZ, Fla. — Linda Raye Littlefield passed away Jan. 25, in Florida.

She was born, the daughter of Raymond and Louise Field of Lewiston. After graduating from Lewiston High School, she traveled the world with her one true love, Arthur Littlefield, who predeceased her in 2002. Their travels and adventures together included many locations and business ventures, including running restaurants in Arizona, publishing telephone books in Arkansas, and New Mexico and operating a tree farm in New Hampshire.

She was also a Realtor, a children’s journalist and gourmet cook. More recently, she worked in the gardening centers at the Windham, and Sebastian, Fla. Wal-Mart’s (Wally World), where she had many co-workers and customers as friends.

She was small in stature but filled with a presence and vitality that lit up a room. She brought the celebration with her and was always the last one to leave. Her passions included cooking, golf, skiing, boating on Sebago Lake and gardening. She enjoyed vacationing in Padre Island, Texas, Taos, N.M., and Harpswell. She loved her family and enjoyed their gatherings, sisters week, Winthrop Christmas, Pooh Day, July 4 at the lake and Survivor Sebago. She enjoyed spending summers in Maine and winters in Florida.

She is survived by her sons, James Poulin and Christopher Poulin and wife, Cindy; her stepchildren, Kenneth Littlefield and wife, Mercedes, Sherry Littlefield and Janice Reeves and husband, Sam; her four grandchildren, Jessica Alderman, Joshua Sleeper, Dominick Poulin and Mikkaila Poulin; her brothers, Raymond Field and wife, Anna, Fredrick Field and wife, Brenda, Richard Field and wife, Suzette, Douglas Field, Daniel Field, James Field and wife, Gina and Rodney Hunnewell and wife, Joan; and her sisters, Bertha Ricker and husband, Erlon and Kathleen Field.
