Auburn citizens will have a chance to comment on the proposed 1985-86 city budget at a hearing Monday evening.

If approved as is by the City Council, the budget would require a 2.3 mill property tax increase, or an additional $2.30 for every $1,000 valuation, bringing the city’s mill rate to 27.4.
