Thomas R. Medrano
1938 – 2010

HAVERHILL, Mass. — Thomas R. Medrano, 71, of Haverhill, Mass., formerly of Leeds, died Saturday, Jan. 23, at the Oxford Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Boston, the son of the late Melicio and Anne (Pratt) Medrano. His early years were spent in Medford, where he attended elementary school. His family relocated to Maine, where he attended Lewiston High School and was a 1956 graduate.

Moving back to the Boston area, he received a bachelor’s degree from Boston University. He was employed as a surveyor for a Boston area civil engineering firm, until his retirement more than 10 years ago.

He leaves two brothers, his twin brother with whom he lived, Dana F. Medrano of Haverhill, Mass., and Carroll P. Medrano of New York City.

He was predeceased by a brother, Norton P. Medrano.
