LISBON FALLS — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce has awarded the Lisbon Falls office of Downeast Energy with the Lisbon Business Award. This award is presented to a local business that has contributed to the economy and has projected a positive image for the town of Lisbon.

The award was presented at the chamber’s annual meeting in Lewiston recently.

Downeast Energy has contributed to many community programs including Sweetser’s Toy Drive, in which employees donated more than 400 toys. The company also sponsors youth sports in the area, contributes to the arts and education at L-A Arts and helps raise money for the local United Way.
