I enjoy reading the local newspaper in the comfort of my easy chair or at the local coffee shop. I like the idea of reading whenever or wherever I might be.

Much to my dismay, there is a lot of information that I cannot get unless I could sit at a computer and go online, such as a list of movies that are showing locally, or special events going on at Bates College and many local events.

I guess it’s savvy to have a Web address, but to me, as a senior citizen, it stinks. I know a lot of senior citizens love the computer, but not I.
