Katherine E. Clements
1922-2010

CHESTERVILLE — Katherine Elizabeth Clements, 87, died of natural causes Feb. 10.

She was born Nov. 27, 1922, the daughter of Laura and Newton Cochran. She married Floyd, the man her uncle introduced her to and it lasted more than 68 years. She worked at Norridgewock Shoe and retired from Fosters Manufacturing.

She enjoyed cards, country music and dancing. She will be remembered for her wonderful recipes and her love of family.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd, and was the matriarch of a large family; her children, Kermit, Charlene, David, Kenny and his wife, Candy, Calvin and his long-time life partner, Linda Myhaver, Cindy and her husband, Buddy Wheeler; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; her two sisters, Lauristine Welsch and Brenda Laflin; and her brother, Lauriston Cochran.
