Mrs. Janette M. Fuller of Auburn, who recently purchased the Dutch Tea Rooms in the Osgood building, 129 Lisbon St., has made several additions to the menu and changes in the prices. The rooms will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and arrangements may be made for special parties at all times. These rooms are pleasantly located up one flight in the Osgood building and with the delicious menu served by the new management afford a most tempting place to lunch.
50 years ago, 1960
Ronnie St. Onge and Fern Cloutier of Lewiston’s hockey Bakers have played on several teams together during the past decade but seldom as linemates. Last Sunday, they were put together in company with fellow St. Dom’s alumnus Bob Labbe on the same forward line, with interesting results, and the same combination is scheduled to go to work on behalf of the Breadsters in this weekend’s series against Fleur de Lis of Montreal.

Bath Iron Works will have two symbolic ship launchings in 1985.
The launching in November of the USS Kauffman will symbolize the phasing out of the FFG-7 class Navy guided missile frigate program, while the AEGIS era at the 100-year-old shipyard will begin in August when the AEGIS cruiser Gates slides down the building ways into the Kennebec River.
