AUBURN — The Fontaine Family, with offices in the Harvard Mall, 336 Center St., Auburn, will host an informational workshop designed for first- and second-time homebuyers from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Feb. 18. The workshop is free and open to the public.

The evening’s program will feature Brenda Fontaine, president of The Fontaine Family — The Real Estate Leader, and Deborah Bodwell, president of Residential Mortgage Services Inc. in Auburn. Topics for discussion will include how to secure a down payment, how to take advantage of government assistance in the buying of a home, and how to obtain the most up-to-date real estate information. The workshop will also provide a question and answer period for participants.
