Ash Wednesday

BETHEL — Our Lady of Snows Catholic Church will hold an Ash Wednesday Mass at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17.

Church service

SOUTH PARIS — A brief Ash Wednesday service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, at First Congregational Church, 17 East Main St.

The service will include prayers, readings and ashes and will last approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Over the next six weeks Sunday sermons and readings will encourage a time of self-reflection. The sermon on Sunday, Feb. 21 is called “Life Stories.” Sunday services are at 10 a.m. for church and Sunday school. The church is handicapped accessible and everyone
is welcome.
