Raymond ‘Moe’ Poulin
1927 – 2010
LEWISTON — Raymond “Moe” Poulin, 82, of Auburn died on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at d’Youville Pavilion.
He was born in Lewiston, Aug. 20, 1927, the son of Alfred O. and Ann Marie (Morin) Poulin and had been a resident of this community all of his life.
He was educated in Lewiston schools and was a graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School, Class of 1947.
He was employed for most of his life in the car dealership industry.
He was a stock car driver for a number of years. His car number was 595.
He enjoyed traveling with his wife to Atlantic City, and used to lead an active social life.
He was a parishioner of St. Louis Church in Auburn.
He is survived by his wife, the former Christine Rousseau, whom he married on Aug. 1, 1953 of Auburn; two sons, Marc Poulin of Lewiston and Raymond Poulin Jr. of Auburn; one daughter, Diane Stoddard and her husband, William, of Lewiston; one sister, Constance Vallee of Lewiston; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one son, Norman Poulin in 2005; and a brother, Armel Poulin.
