Oxford Hills Christian Academy raised more than $400 in donations for crisis care kits to be shipped to Haiti to help with basic necessities for the victims of the recent earthquake. High school teacher Douglas Twitchell headed the project, and with the help of the students and others, was able to ship off 60 kits, which included soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, band-aids, shampoo, towels, tissues and other basics. The kits were shipped through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries.
