Asli Abdi, 6, of Lewiston learns how to hold a violin during an intro to violin story program at the Auburn Public Library on Friday morning. Susan Krongold, right, a music teacher from Auburn, played along as children read the children’s book “Feelings.” Children also sang the song “Up Goes the Violin,” which describes how a violin is held. “It’s so nice of her (Krongold) to expose the children to the violin,” said Renee Simonitis, an Auburn mother of two. “It’s such a beautiful instrument.”
